Luminoah Wins Inaugural AGA Incubator Final Showcase at Digestive Disease Week® 2026

Luminoah took top honors among eleven startups in the inaugural AGA Incubator: Improving GI Care.

Luminoah was named the winner of the inaugural AGA Incubator: Improving GI Care Final Showcase, held Saturday, May 2 at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2026 in Chicago, IL. The six-month program, co-led by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and MATTER, brought together eleven companies advancing innovation across digestive disease care — from colorectal cancer screening and pelvic floor disorders to pancreatic cyst diagnostics, Crohn’s disease therapy, and revenue cycle tools for GI practices.

The recognition follows Luminoah’s FDA clearance of Luminoah Flow™ in April 2026, marking a period of significant momentum on the path to commercialization. Luminoah Flow is the first closed-loop, personalized enteral nutrition platform — a compact, app-connected pump designed to move with the user rather than tether them to a pole or backpack.

Over six months of tailored programming, the inaugural cohort worked alongside practicing gastroenterologists, AGA clinical leaders, mentors, and industry experts before taking the stage at DDW 2026 to pitch in front of a panel of judges, investors, healthcare leaders, and potential customers.

“Patients on enteral nutrition deserve modern technology and real visibility into their care,” said Neal Piper, founder and CEO of Luminoah. “The AGA Incubator gave us the opportunity to work alongside leaders who see the same gap we’ve been building to close. The response throughout the program echoed what we hear every day from patients, families, and clinicians — the unmet need is real, urgent, and addressable. We are deeply grateful to AGA, MATTER, and the entire cohort for an exceptional experience.”

The inaugural cohort included Amplified Sciences, Flow Therapeutics, GI Transit, JOGO, Luminoah, Lura Health, MiWEndo Solutions, Neurogut, Prevenotics, Protego, and Twistomy.

Luminoah extends thanks to the AGA and MATTER teams and to the clinicians and leaders who shaped the program, including Tom Serena, Dr. Jason Samarasena, Dr. Eric Shah, Dr. Simon Mathews, Dr. Michael Kochman, Jessica Duncan, Nancy Chill, Sherri-Gae Scott, Maddie O’Day, and Steven Collens, along with mentors Nirav Patel and Marcus Osborne.
